Who was born in Pickins Dist. South Carolina on
1st Day of May A.D. 1802, and in the year 1831
he moved near this place, where he departed this
life on the 3rd day January, 1877.
He had lived a consistent deacon in the Baptist
Church over 40 years, and lived in the full triumph
of the faith that he would see God.
God has taken him to Himself where
the wicked cease their troubling
and the weary are at rest.
