…I, David Anderson of ye county of Stafford, this first day of Decembr in ye year 1692…for the sum of 9,000 pounds tobacco and cask in hand paid by Thomas Harris of Stafford County have sold unto ye said Thomas Harris, his heirs forever, a tract of land being in Pazbetanzy Forest upon ye branches of Maulle’s Swamp containing 350 acres this land was taken by my father David Anderson, deceased…patent received in James City 27 Apr 1668 & fallen to me David Anderson, his son David Anderson (son to David, his son, deced as his eldest son and heir)… Witness: William Buckner, Rice Hooe, Theodorick Blande.
