- Services for Clara Richardson Williams, 95, of Montalba will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2006, at Bailey & Foster Chapel with Dan Manuel and Terry Adams officiating. Burial will follow in Liberty Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey & Foster Funeral Home of Palestine.
Mrs. Williams died Sunday, Sept. 10, 2006, at her residence. She was born Aug. 30, 1911, in BoisD?Arc to Brown Jasper and Emma Johnson Richardson.
Mrs. Williams was a member of the Gray?s Chapel Church of Christ. She and her husband, Paul H. Williams, owned and operated a grocery store business for 23 years, 17 of which were spent in Montalba. She was a wonderful and loving grandmother and great-grandmother. She helped raise all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Paul Holland Williams; an infant son; a sister, Jessie Mae Rosser; and two brothers, Hugh Richardson and Clyde Richardson. She is survived by her daughters, Jane Williams Patton and husband, Arvil, and Emma Williams Collins and husband, Norman, all of Montalba; a son, Graham Richardson Williams and wife, Toby, of Montalba; a sister-in-law, Louise Williams of Rowlett; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
