- Tommie Mae Fullerton of Gatesville died March 11 in a Weatherford nursing home. She was 81.
Funeral services were held Friday at Scott's Funeral Home Chapel with Delbert Smith officiating. Burial was in Restland Cemetery.
She was born June 30, 1914, in Waxahachie to the late Elijah and Tommie Mae Evans. She married Raymond Pecore in 1933 and they made their home in Houston.
In 1943, she married Tomas Fullerton. They resided in Houston and Lubbock before moving to Gatesville in 1979.
He preceded her in death in 1988.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include one daughter, Betty Sue Powers of Lake Havasu, AZ; three brothers, Earl Evans of Morton, E.M. Evans of Lubbock and Floyd Evans of Dallas; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
