Murray (1803-1860). She married Charles Hughey Cagle 13-Jun-1845 at Flat Rock, NC. and the growing family would re-locate to Winston County, MS. in 1851. She would become the mother of eleven children; nine daughters (Mary Matilda, Margaret Louisa, Elvira Jane, Virginia Caroline, Eululia T., Harriet Augusta, Bettie, Anna Lee and Sallie Ford Cagle) and two sons (James Pinkney and Charles Leonard Cagle.)
Virey was described by one of her granddaughters as having..."an unusually gentle and amiable disposition. She was loved greatly by her children and grandchildren, and remembered with affection in the town."
