    • OBIT: Final Rites Held For Henry Storm
      Funeral services for Henry Allen Storm, age 71, was held at 4 p.m. Tuesday in the Church of Christ officiated by Auther C. Judd, minister.
      Burial was held in the Kirkland cemetery under the direction of Newberry Funeral Home.
      Mr. Stone died Friday, August 28th, at his home, 300 Second Street Southeast, about 9:45 p.m. apparently from a heart attack. He was born April 30, 1899 in Palo Pinto County, Texas, moving to the Kirkland community in 1913 from Bangs, Texas where he farmed and ranched until 1958 when he became associated with the local police department. He served as policeman, assistant chief of police and radio dispatcher until his health worsened. At the time of his death he was serving as city judge pro tem.
      He married the former Miss Audrey Bridges June 30, 1949 in Shamrock and was a member of the Childress Church of Christ.
      Survivors include his wife, Audrey, one daughter, Mrs. Johnnie Renfroe of Washington D. C.; three brothers, Albert Storm of Kirkland, Preston Storm and Lawrence Storm, both of Canyon city, Colorado; two sister, Mrs. Ellen Remington of Lometa, California and Mrs. Vada Owen of Amarillo; two nieces, Mrs. Kenneth Spoonts of Fairbanks, Alaska and Mrs. Horace Henson of Irving; one nephew Larry Lee Bridges of Odessa; one grandchild and one great grandson.
      Pallbearers were Alvis Maddox, C. C. McBride, Neil Gage, John Ballew, Cecil Park, Gene Conner, Houston Wrinkle and Jess Key.
