Her childhood was spent in Cedar Falls, Iowa with her mother and father, Harold Forsyth. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 38 years, David McFadin Sweeney. She is survived by children Kathleen F. Sweeney, Eileen S. Wade, Colleen S. Steblein, Maureen S. Holloway, and David F. Sweeney; eight grandchildren and brother, David Burwell. Beverly moved to Dallas in the early 50s and graduated from Sunset High School in 1953. She worked out of the home as an interior designer and briefly with her husband as a home builder. Of her many hobbies, gardening was her favorite. She moved to Wimberley, Texas in 1991and became active in the community. She was a founding member of Wimberley Presbyterian Church. A memorial is planned for Saturday, May 22 at 11:30 a.m. at Wimberley Presbyterian Church. In lieu of flowers or other gifts, the family requests that donations be made in Beverly's memory to the church, 956 FM 2325, Wimberley, TX 78676.
