Pickel Home, Williamston, Anderson County, South Carolina
Pickel Home, Williamston, Anderson County, South Carolina
"William built a large two story house in Williamston. It became a hotel according to a Mr. Wilson [who later owned the land] on which it stood. The house was one the street from town to the tannery and mill that the Pickel family owned... It was across the street from the Presbyterian Church and a new post office is built on the lot." This picture was taken in the 1940's before the house burned down in 1962.

Probable Home of Washington Ezekiel Ingram
Probable Home of Washington Ezekiel Ingram
This picture was found the the files of some of Washington Ezekiel Ingram's descendants. Nobody is sure whose house this might of been, but it has been eliminated as being the house of several of his descendants. So now it is believed that this might have been Washington Ezekiel and Sarah Brown Ingram's house in Rural Shade, Texas.

If you look closely at the windmill, you will see that it was manufactured by The Aermotor Co., Chicago. That company was founded in 1888; therefore this picture would have been taken some time after both Washington and Sarah died.
